I am so excited to be a staff member at North Arvada Middle School this year. I have been a teacher in Jefferson County for 27. Before working here at North Arvada, I worked at Sheridan Green Elementary. When Sheridan Green became a Gifted and Talented Center I moved into the GT center and taught fourth grade. I am excited to be at North Arvada and be teaching GT English Language Arts to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

I have been married to my husband, Brian for 14 years and we have two beautiful children. Our daughter, Khloe, is an eigth grader and our son, Braydon, is a sixthgrader and they attend Shadow Ridge Middle School in Adams 12. We also have three dogs; Chip, Lucy, and Roscoe, a guinea pig named Butterscotch, and a leopard gecko named Simba.

I am a graduate of Jefferson County Public schools so teaching in this district means so much to me. I attended Metropolitan State University. I attended University of Phoenix and have a Master's Degree in the Diverse Learner. I also went back to school to earn my Gifted and Talented endorsement and enjoy using my new learning for ALL students.
