Meet Mrs. Marcus
I am an art teacher with 19 years of experience, a Jeffco grad and a proud parent of two sons who attend Wilmot Elementary. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students and was honored to design and lead the Bear Creek Children's Mural, under the 73 underpass, with students in the community. My passion for the artistic process and creating art and sharing it with children drives me every day. Living and teaching in my community has always been my dream, and I’m excited to bring that dream to life here at Wilmot.

Art Club Vision
"Lunch Time Art Club"
The lunch time Art Club provides an opportunity for students to dive deeper into materials and techniques in a small setting of their peers. We will focus on developing skills and knowledge in guided projects, with a little bit of exploration mixed in. Mrs. Marcus will demonstrate lessons while students eat. After they have a full belly, the students will dive in to creating!
These clubs are grouped by grade level: K, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Click the appropriate grade level to learn more and sign up!

Passion Project Club
The after-school Passion Project Club, open to 4th and 5th graders, is an independent study club. This club is perfect for students who have a personal interest, talent, or big idea they’d like to explore under the guidance of Mrs. Marcus and the support of their peers. Each student will work on developing a school year-long project unique to their own passions and goals. Students will take the lead in shaping, promoting, and presenting their projects. And for my artists who worry they won't have a space to create after school? Make art your passion project!
