Drake Expectation Sheet -- Students and Families Read the sheet and sign and turn in the acknowledgement sheet by Tuesday, August 22nd. T
The Signature sheet was handed out to students out by Friday, August 18th along with the Expectation/Welcome Letter (syllabus) and Calendar list for the school year.
Electronic Copies will be available under Google Classroom for each student.
***Bring Instruments on Monday, August 21st.***
No Stands are needed. Only Instrument, Music Binder (Ms. Wilson is handing these out on Wednesday) and a pencil that can be kept in their case.

Signatures to acknowledge this Expectation Form are handed out in class. It was included in their Music Binder they received one of the first days of school.
Students and Parents/Guardians the Acknowledgement form is a grade for the class.

The Expectation (syllabus) Sheet, Acknowledgement of Expectation Signature Sheet, and Calendar for the year is included above, in the students' binders, under Documents on the Website and under each student's Google Classroom. Please refer to these throughout the year.
Supply lists for individual instruments will be posted here and under the Documents Tab:
New Students (6th Graders) -
6th Graders will need 1) Percussion Kit rental (with Bells and Drum Pad/Snare Drum) and
2) Mallet Stick Bag
1) All Percussion students will need need to rent or buy a Bell Set and Drum Pad/Snare Drum to practice with at home. These are not available to rent from school.

There are also some places to buy used including Music Go Round.
2) Students will also need to buy a Stick Bag with yarn mallets, drum sticks with a wood tip, timpani mallets and rubber mallets. These are available in a kit. You can buy through a link below, but I will also make a group order once schools starts with a discount. I reccommend waiting for the group order.
One pair of drum sticks will not last the entire year. They will wear out and need to be replaced. All items can be used through 8th grade with replacing only items that break or wear out. (For example, the yarn can wear down on the yarn mallets used for xylophone, marimba and cymbals and have to be replaced.)
Returning Percussion Students (mainly 7th and 8th Graders) - Check that your stick bag has all the needed equipment and nothing is broken or worn out. See Ms. Wilson if you need help in finding and purchasing replacements.
