Hello!

My name is Kayla Dickson. I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Arvada. I am married to my husband John, we have two children Brooks and Collins. We also have a golden retriever, Bohdi, who keeps us very busy!

 I graduated from Metropolitan State University in 2016 and received my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University in 2022. I have been teaching here at Slater since 2017. 

When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on the Bronco's, or spending time at our cabin in Parshall, CO.
