I am originally from Ohio where I attended the University of Akron. There I played soccer and double-majored in Theoretical Mathematics and Secondary Education. After college, I taught in Ohio for four years before taking time off to stay home while my kids were little. During that time I earned my Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and Design from Walden University. My husband, our two daughters, and I moved to Denver eleven years ago. I taught for 3 years in the Denver metro area before coming to Chatfield. This is my sixth year teaching at Chatfield Senior High and I love it here. I also coach mountain biking club and am the Chatfield Asian Student Association (CASA) advisor here at Chatfield.
When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends and being outside, preferably riding my mountain bike.
