Mr. Reetz' Projects (pre-bee-el) have been covered in Jefferson County Historic Commission's annual magazine. The Westall Project created a stir, and the current Platte Hotel Project is in slow motion, but it is in motion.
As of February, 2020, the hotel project will not proceed, as the property owner has decided against funding a rehabilitation of the hotel.
However, the Confluence Habitat Improvement Project, (CHIP), will be a project that comes out of our relationship with Denver Water. Period 3/ Term 3 students will be designated the Core Team for this project. All of my students have had the opportunity to join this project. Stay tuned....
Mr. Reetz coordinates the publication of student work. Many of these are available in the school library; the poetry collections can be found under call number 821.92.
