This week, we are investigating misconceptions about evolution. We will be exploring the great human migration out of Africa next week, and then learning about the biology of human skin color, which will allow us to connect all of the evolution concepts we studied from desert mice to whales in the context of our own species. Before winter break, we will begin to explore deep time by introducing the Big 5 mass extinctions.
