I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1998 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics. I taught High School Math at Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz Texas for 2 years. From there I taught Middle School math for Brentwood Middle School in San Antonio Texas.
At that time I went back to school and worked on my Master's degree in Mathematics for two years at UTSA.
From there we moved to Denver Colorado where I taught at Abraham Lincoln High School for 1 year. I applied for and received a position at Chatfield Senior High and began teaching here in August of 2006. I have now completed teaching my twelfth year at Chatfield, my thirteenth year in Colorado, and a total of seventeen years of teaching over all.
My wife Gwen and I have been married for sixteen years as of 2018. We have two wonderful Daughters, Emily and Melody. They will show up once in a while. I enjoy playing my trumpet, fishing, and playing with computers. My newest hobby is 3D printing where I am looking to start creating three dimensional designs for my classroom.
