About Us

Welcome to the Mount Carbon Library! My name is Mrs. Close and this is my 9th year at Mount Carbon. I have taught elementary, middle school, and high school but I love being the Mount Carbon Digital Teacher Librarian! I have an Elementary Education degree and also have degrees in Educational Technology and Library and Information Science. I love learning and going to school!

If I am not at work, you can find me on my couch reading a book, going for walks with my dog, Dakota Jayne, or hanging out with my family.

My favorite part about working in the library is getting to see all of the students throughout the week!
