IMPORTANT DATES

August ~ Welcome Mustangs!

• Mini Mustang Days:

  • 8/19, 8/20 & 8/21  Shortened Days for our newest mustangs! 

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday only ⅓ of our mini mustangs will come to school on their assigned day from 8:30-12:30. In lieu of Mitchell’s whole school Meet & Greet, Kindergarten families are welcome & encouraged to come and meet the kindergarten teachers, drop off school supplies and say a brave good-bye by 9am on the day they attend. We will hold parent informational meetings each day from 12:45-1:15 in our school library after we dismiss your kiddo. New families to Mitchell are highly encouraged to attend. These sessions are intended to help ease you and your child’s transition to kindergarten and learn about all the ins & outs of being a Mitchell Mustang!

• Buses will not be available on these days for after school transportation. Please plan to pick up your child from our exterior classroom doors at 12:30 pm.     

• ALL students will be having lunch in the cafeteria on their 1st day! You may choose to have your child bring a lunch to school, or a school lunch will be provided. Pick up time is at 12:30. 

• 8/24  1st Full day with assigned kindergarten classes

• 8/27  Curriculum Night 5-6pm

• 8/28 & 8/31  Modified Contact Days ~ These are NOT regular school days. Your kiddo will only come to school on one of these dates for about 15 minutes. We will be sure to give you all the details at our Information Meeting after your childś mini mustang day.
