First Grade

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope you and your family have enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with special memories, fun, and relaxation.

I am so excited to welcome you to our first-grade family! This year will be filled with meaningful learning experiences, exciting adventures, and opportunities for every child to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe, valued, encouraged, and excited to come to school each day.

I believe that every child has unique strengths and the ability to succeed. Together, we will build confidence, celebrate achievements, learn from challenges, and make lasting memories along the way.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and partnering with your family to make this a joyful, successful, and unforgettable first-grade year. I can't wait to meet everyone and begin this amazing journey together!

I have had the pleasure of teaching at Kyffin Elementary for the past six years and I am excited to begin my seventh year as a proud member of the Kyffin community. I look forward to continuing to work alongside our dedicated staff to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for every student.
