About Mrs. Trujillo

Hi! My name is Mary Trujillo. This is my 12th year teaching and third year at Kyffin. I have taught first through fourth grade, and I am so excited to be teaching third grade this year! I love the amazing community at Kyffin, and I am so happy to be a part of this community of teachers, students and parents!

I am originally from the Southern suburbs of Chicago and moved to Golden, CO when I was going into second grade. Although I did not go to Kyffin, I did go to school just down the street at Shelton! I also graduated from Golden High School. Even though I am not a Colorado native, I enjoy skiing, snowboarding, hiking and the Broncos! I have two sons. Ben will be 5 in October. He is so silly, sweet, mischievous, and loving! Ollie will be 3 in January. He is the sweetest cuddle bug and loves to keep me on my toes. Mr. Trujillo and I also have two cute dogs. Winston is an 9 year old poodle mix and Peyton is a 6 year old Goldendoodle.
