Personal Information

I have been teaching for 22 years and have taught many classes including: Health, Integrated Math, Honors Biology, Earth Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Conceptual Physics, Integrated Science and Marine Biology.

I am originally from Springfield, Ohio. I graduated from Ohio State University with a Masters in Education with a focus in Comprehensive Secondary Sciences. While in college, I was a member of the cross country, swimming and track teams.

My husband and I enjoy SCUBA diving, hiking, cross country skiing, open water swimming and camping. I also enjoy helping my husband with his artistic light painting photography. When I am not teaching, I am usually training for Xterra triathlons. I enjoy swimming, mountain biking, and trail running. I have recently started racing BMX.

I have one British Short Hair cat named Chelsea. The larger cat pictured below just passed away.
