Hello and welcome to Language Arts! As a child, I loved traveling to new worlds within the pages of my books, and ever since eighth grade, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I grew up in Chicago and moved out to Colorado after I graduated college. I love the mountains and all the outdoor activities they have to offer. Outside of teaching, I enjoy riding my horse, attending music concerts, and hiking with my dog, Lucy. I love teaching and working with the amazing students and community at Drake!
