About Me

This is my 13th year teaching high school English Language Arts and my fifth year at Chatfield High School! I am originally from Miami, Florida, where I grew up on a sailboat. I began my teaching career in Miami-Dade Public Schools. I was also lucky to teach in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China, before showing up in Colorado almost a decade ago at this point. In 2019 I was excited to learn that I would be joining the staff at CSHS. In my spare time I write music and perform in a band with my friends, I help out in leadership in my local church, and I try to make time to get lost in the mountains. I love what I get to do as a teacher, and I love being here at Chatfield with the awesome students and staff that make this place so special. Go Chargers!
