healthcareMr. Steven Barnhill is a Colorado native. Born and raised in Boulder, CO, he attended Western State University in Gunnison where he earned a Bachelors degree and attended Paramedic school. Mr. Barnhill was active in the search and rescue team, the ambulance and ski patrol.
Mr. Barnhill has been a Tech Ed teacher in Jeffco since 1992. He ran the Technology department at Alameda High School for 24 years before coming to Lakewood High School to round out his career as a Lakewood Tiger.
After more than 30 years as a teacher, Mr. Barnhill still thrives on the amazing creativity he has enjoyed from his woods and metals students.
Mr. Barnhill has 3 grown children. All three work in the healthcare field.
Mr. Barnhill teaches: Principles of Manufacturing, Construction Tech, Woodworking, and Welding.
