Mrs. Laura Johnson

My name is Laura Johnson and I am the Primary Teacher in the AN Center at Colorow. I grew up right here in Littleton, Colorado! As a Colorado native, I am naturally an avid Broncos fan and love cheering them on each weekend! I enjoy getting outside in my free time to enjoy the beauty that Colorado has to offer! I like to go for walks, hike, and play outside with my dog. In my spare time, I like to stay active by going to the gym, playing flag football, and playing dodge ball. I have my under graduate degree in Psychology and my Master’s Degree in Special Education. Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with students from ages 4 years old up to 23 years old.

I absolutely love being a part of the Center program here at Colorow Elementary. This is my seventh year working in the Center with students ranging from Kindergarten to 6^th grade. I truly enjoy working with students to help them grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. It is such a joy to see students make successful strides throughout the school year! In my classroom it is my goal to make each and every student feel accepted, cared for, respected, and cherished! I look forward to walking together on the journey that this next school year will bring!
