Jessica.Gnagy@jeffco.k12.co.usI am a Jeffco graduate and a Colorado native. I went to elementary school at Martensen Elementary, Everitt Middle School, and Wheat Ridge High School. Wheat Ridge is my stomping grounds.
I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I realized how important my teachers were to me. They gave me the tools I needed to be successful, and I hope to do the same for my future students. I love to teach students to read and I have a great passion for teaching.
I love to cook with my husband and bake with my girls. I make the best spaghetti sauce-my grandmother's recipe.
I love to watch my daughters play sports and karate. I enjoy being active outside, especially going to the mountains.

Nycole.Bennecke@jeffco.k12.co.usI grew up in Southern California and moved out to Colorado in 2011. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Special Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In February of 2021, I completed my master’s degree in Reading with an emphases in Elementary from Grand Canyon University. I am excited to be returning to Vanderhoof for a 6th year.
When I am not at school, I enjoy reading books, spending time with my family, gardening, and spending time outside. My husband and I have three daughters. As a family, we love to go outdoors to take hikes, go to rivers to play in the water, and take family road trips during the summer.

I've been teaching in Jeffco for 8 years, I am a Colorado native. I believe in the power of learning and love to learn new things. I look forward to learning alongside this community, it's going to be a great year!
I'm a Colorado girl, I love to do all things outdoors. A few of my favorites are paddle boarding, hiking, camping and fishing. I also love to read, garden, bake and try new foods. I am a foodie! I love to travel, I married my husband last year in the Hawaiian mountains. We have one daughter.

Rachel.Switzer@jeffco.k12.co.usI grew up in San Diego, California and moved to Colorado in 2004 to attend CU Boulder and never left! I taught preschool in Boulder and Denver for 3 years before going to graduate school at Metro State, where I received my Master’s of Social Work in 2013. This is my sixth year at Vanderhoof and I am so proud to be part of this team and community. I became a school social worker because I love making connections and working with kids and their families in a creative and constantly changing environment. I enjoy helping students navigate different challenges and choices while helping them to be successful in school.
My husband, Nick, and I have two children, Evan, 6, a Vanderhoof first grader, and Lilah, 3, as well as a dog and cat. We love to spend time together enjoying all of Colorado’s outdoor activities and visiting my family in Southern California.

I pursued my masters degree at the University of Colorado, Boulder in speech language pathology and graduated in 2022. This is my third year working in the Jeffco school district and I'm looking forward to a great year!
My husband and I have a 3-year-old corgi and we love to go hiking. I also enjoy traveling around the world and experiencing new places.
