Fifth Grade

Hello! My name is Ms. Ashford. I have been teaching at Lasley Elementary as a classroom teacher for 10 years. This is my 2nd year in 5th grade. I have also taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade! I love to read and my favorite subjects to teach/study are science and history. I am pleased to have spent the last 24 years living in the Denver area with my kids and grandkids. 

Welcome to 5th grade!   Lasley is a special place that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of for several years!  I am looking forward to working with the 5th grade students and families in a partnership to provide the best instruction for each individual student and meeting all of you and sharing our curriculum and expectations for this year.
