Interventionists

I have had the privilege of working Jeffco for over 30 years. I have been a literacy interventionist for the past 20 years in grades K-6.  

At Slater, I am fortunate to work with students in grades K-3, as a literacy interventionist.  I am Orton Gillingham trained and am currently  working on becoming a certified instructor. I love working with students helping them to become life-long readers.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my two daughters.  I like to play tennis, water ski, hike,  paddle board and of course, read.

I have been fortunate to have called Slater home for over 30 years! I have a passion for teaching students to read. I am Orton Gillingham trained and strive to help students develop a love of reading as they become proficient readers! 

I am a JeffCo school's graduate and attended Colorado State University for my undergraduate degree and University of Colorado for my master's degree.  Outside of school, I am a wife and mother of two grown boys.  Besides reading, I enjoy spending time outdoors  hiking, tennis, camping, skiing, paddleboarding, & dirt biking
