About Me

North Arvada Middle School Family and Friends,

Thank you for taking time to visit my page! Here is a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Iowa where most of my family still resides. My husband and I have lived in Colorado for just over a year and really enjoy the beauty of the mountains. I love spending time reading, hiking, and enjoying family. About two years ago, I began to teach myself how to play the acoustic guitar, however it is still a work in progress. My passion for teaching started at a very young age and has transpired into a life-long career. As this is year four for me, I have previsouly taught pre-school, second grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. I look forward to working with 7th and 8th grade this year as I move into a middle school setting.
