Library Services

Ms. Walter-Vezzetti is available to help students with research, writing, projects, technology, and any other questions you may have.
Items available for student use include books, calculators, phone chargers, Chromebooks and chargers, textbooks, magazines, and DVDs.
The library has USB and electrical outlets for charging phones, calculators, and other mobile devices.
The library also sells various school supplies, offers copying/lamination services, and provides are variety of free supplies to use for school projects (colored pencils, glue, scissors...).

Checking out items

Students can check out items by providing their name/ID number. If a student's picture is not in the system, a student ID or other photo ID is needed to check out items.
Chromebooks are available for LIMITED checkout. 1:1 classes are afforded 3 checkouts each semester.
Students may check out up to 10 items; most can be kept for 2 weeks. A few items are 1-day checkout only. Students can view their library account details online
Items may be renewed up to 3 times as long as no one else has the item reserved.

Fines

Fine amounts are set by the district and consistent across all Jeffco High Schools. Student checkout privileges are temporarily suspended if overdue/lost fees reach $10 or more.
Yearbooks may be held at the end of the year until overdue/lost fees are taken care of.
Lost Items: Lost items are billed at the replacement cost of the item.

Etiquette

All food should be kept in the Commons and Cafeteria areas. Drinks with secure lids are allowed in the library.
Computers are for educational use; due to bandwidth limits, playing Internet games or downloading is not permitted.
Cell phones are ok, but they should be silenced while in the library and extended calls should take place in the area outside the main library entrance.
Students are welcome to listen to mp3 players (with headphones) while studying or working independently in the library as long as the music can't be heard by others.
If you move furniture, please return it to its original location.
Please leave your space cleaner than how you found it.
