STUDENT FAQ's

What time are the prize drawings taking place? Prizes drawings will start at 1 am and go through 2:15-2:30 am. Plan on staying for the entire event to win BIG! (Over $3000 in prizes given away)

Do I need a ticket for After Prom? After prom is FREE for all GHMS Juniors and Seniors and tickets are not required. The only requirement is that you have to be an active Junior or Senior with good standing to attend.

Do I have to go to Prom to get into After Prom? No, If you are a GMHS Junior or Senior you can attend After Prom even if you do not pay for a ticket and attend Prom at Coors Field.

Can I bring a guest from another school? Yes, you can bring a guest to After Prom if that guest attended Prom at Coors Field with you and signed the appropriate guest form. Prom guest forms can be picked up at the main office and are due by next Thursday, April 4th.

Can I bring a a guest who is an underclassman from GMHS or another school? Only Sophomores are allowed as an underclassman guest. Any sophomore guest must attend Prom at Coors Field with you and sign the appropriate guest form. Prom guest forms can be picked up at the main office and are due by next Thursday, April 4th. Yes, as long as they are a sophomore and have a guest ticket

Do I need to bring money to After Prom? No, After Prom is completely free! Food, Drinks, Casino Games, Entertainment, Photo Booths are all provided.

Do I need to dress up? No, this event is a fun casual event for any Junior or Senior of GMHS and their registered prom guest.

What time and where is After Prom? The event is from 11 pm until approximately 3:00 am at GMHS. Doors will be open to enter until 12:30 AM

What is happening at After Prom?

This event is a PARTY!!!!

FULL Casino- Over 20 Tables of Black Jack and Poker and even a Roulette Table. You get chips to bet and the dealers will teach you how to play. You can cash in your chips for tickets to win PRIZES! There is also a Cash Cube that you can enter to grab money and tickets in addition to a Prize spin wheel.
Cash Cube- Try your luck in the cube to grab as much flying money as you can!
Wheel of Prizes- Spin the wheel to win and get entered into the Grand Prize Drawing for BIG prizes!!!!
Live Music- A steel drum band will be playing in the fun and sun area. Try out the Limbo contest or lounge around with some great food!
Group Photo Booth- Gather all of your friends to get your photo taken and walk away with a custom print to remember the event!
Glow Games and DJ in the Auxilary Gym- Check out the SPACE in the aux Gym and play corn hole, shuffleboard, ping pong, and more!
360 Video Booth- Grab 2 other friends and take a 360 video sent to your text. You will look MARVELOUS!
Human Velcro Wall- Propel yourself and see if you can stick to the wall....wait what?
Jumbo Soccer Darts- Get a bullseye and win prizes!!

What Is After Prom? A long-standing tradition of more than 30 years! GMHS is one of the few schools that provides a fun, safe, and FREE party after the main prom event for students held at GMHS. We encourage ALL Juniors and Seniors to come party with us, instead of on their own even if they don’t attend Prom. Students can look forward to activities like photo booths, sports competitions, a full casino, live music, DJ music, free food, money giveaways, and several prizes. The event is from 11 pm until approximately 3:00 am.

Who Coordinates After Prom? This event is run by a committee of parent volunteers and school staff who know how to have fun!

All GMHS Parents: We welcome your participation! It takes a village to put on a successful and inclusive party for our Juniors and Seniors! There are many ways to help out…you can join the committee and get hands-on with planning, volunteer your time before and after the event or make a cash donation or contribution for food and prizes. We appreciate any help you can give to make this long-standing After Prom event a success and a tradition that continues for years to come.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED WITH AFTER PROM LAST YEAR!!!!!! It was a huge success and our goal is to make this year even better. It takes a lot of parent volunteers to provide a safe and fun place for our kids to go after PROM. We are proud to continue with this wonderful tradition in 2024.
