I’m Katie Cicero, MSW, LCSW, the Mental Health provider for Special Education, General Education and Social/Emotional Learning Specialist for GMES. This is my 6th year at GMES! My happiest place is outside in the Colorado Mountains with our 3 teenage boys during the summer or winter and all the seasons in between. Spending time with kids and getting to know who they are, their families, and supporting their growth, for the future, is who I am!

The 2022-23 school year will be my second year at Green Mountain Elementary and I am super stoked to be here. I love the collaborative environment and I think the kids are the best! I love watching them grow and gain confidence.

When I am not teaching, I love to hike, paddleboard with my dog Daisy, read, sew, paint and bake. I also enjoy camping and traveling. One of my life goals is to visit all of the National Parks.

I am so excited to be returning to GMES this year! I am in my third year as a Learning Specialist and I completed my Masters Degree in Special Education last Spring. I love books and especially like hanging out in libraries and book stores.

I am a native of Colorado and attended JeffCo schools. After my husband and I spent years in the Bay Area, we returned to raise our own family in the Green Mountain area. We have three boys - ages 17, 15, and 10 - who attend area schools. We are busy with sports, Scouts, youth group, and cheering on our CU BUFFS!

I am passionate about servicing students inclusively within classrooms and believe that with collaboration and planning, any lesson can be differentiated effectively! I value students' and their families' voices as the most important in the Special Education process.

I am Patty Rogers, Green Mountain Elementary's speech and language therapist. I love helping children improve their speech, language, and social communication. I look forward to working with your children. Spending time with my family on the beautiful trails of Green Mountain and Bear Creek area also makes me smile.

My name is Savannah Hamilton, this is my third year at Green Mountain! I attend Western Governors University, I am getting my Dual Licensor in Special Education and Elementary Education. I absolutely love being in the Green Mountain community, where staff, parents, and students all come together to support and uplift all. When I am not servicing kids I love to fish, canoe, and spend time with my family.

Erica Berg - ESL Specialist

Erica Berg is the ESL teacher at GMES. This is her 21st year teaching. All 3 of her kids went to GMES and this school holds a special place in her heart. In her spare time she likes to run, hike, camp, shop and read. She is grateful for the wonderful families, staff and community at GMES!!
