The Golden High School Mountain Bike Team is a fall sport focused on fun, skills, teamwork, and community. We welcome riders of all experience levels and create a supportive environment where students can grow confidence, learn trail skills, and build lifelong friendships.

Mountain biking is a lifelong sport, and there is no better place to learn and ride than Golden.

Golden is surrounded by incredible trails, many within riding distance of campus. Our program gives students a safe, encouraging place to:

Ride local trails and explore the outdoors

We are proud to be the first high school in Colorado to offer mountain biking as a lettering sport!

Mountain biking is a fall sport
Practices take place on local Jeffco Open Space trails
Riders are grouped by ability to ensure a safe and supportive experience

We Need Volunteers and Coaches

The GHS Mountain Bike Team is powered by volunteers. Coaches and helpers play a huge role in creating a positive experience for our riders.

There are three coaching levels, and you do not need to be an expert rider to help. Training and support are provided.
