What does the PTA actually do?
The PTA plans fun school-wide events like the FunRun, Winter Dance, the Science Fair, and the Spring Makahiki Carnival. We also fund teacher requests for classroom materials so they don't need to pay for necessities out of pocket.
PTA is a GREAT way to get to know other Fremont families.
Yea, but what’s the time commitment?
The PTA meets about once a month at 5:30pm in the Fremont Library—and yes, you can bring the kids. You can also volunteer for all kind of things. Paint a mural. Pick up pizza. Work the school store. Design and build a carnival game. Some people are involved all year, others just help with one or two things.
Our school is what we make it, so come build a diverse and exciting community with us. We can’t do it without you.
Membership is only $10 a year.
