Mrs. Prestien grew up in Denver, Iowa. (Yes, that is correct. There is a small town in Iowa, named Denver.) She and her husband live in Lakewood and have two grown children. Mrs. Prestien enjoys being outside, spending time with family and friends, and decorating. Over her career Mrs. Prestien has taught various grade levels and has been a reading intervention teacher. She looks forward to a great year of learning!

Ms. Silverstone grew up just north of Boston, Massachusetts. She lives in Evergreen with her husband Dan, her two sons Jonah (7) and Josh (5), her dog Otis, and her turtle Barley. When not teaching, Ms. Silverstone loves spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, kayaking, and picnicking at parks! She is thrilled to be starting this year's learning adventure!
