Meet Your DTL

Hello Everyone. I am so excited to be starting my 5th year as a digital teacher librarian here at Fairmount Elementary.  I spent  5 years as a Fairmount 5th grade teacher and 15 additional years teaching K-2 in Florida.  I have a strong love for reading and for helping students discover what they are passionate about.  I can’t wait to work with all of Fairmount’s fabulous Firebirds! 

My husband Paul and I just celebrated our 30th anniversary. We live in beautiful Golden and have 2 sons - Brett is 26 and Jackson is 24.  We also have a 12 year old Border Collie/Corgi mix ("Borgi") named Jessie. In our free time we like to hike, travel, and explore area restaurants.  I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
