Welcome!

I was born in Littleton, Colorado and grew up in Wheat Ridge where I developed a fascination for playing tennis and guitar. After graduating from Wheat Ridge Senior High I went to Western State College in Gunnison. There I found two new passions: mountain biking and teaching. I moved back to Wheat Ridge to student teach in 1991 at Arvada West and in December of that year re-met the love of my life, Ingrid. We married and had two amazing children, Tanner and Eli. I was hired at Chatfield in the Fall of 1999 and committed the last 20 years of my professional life to it.
