The overall goal for this product, "Kindness Cards" is to bring more positivity and encouragement to someone's day.

This idea started when I noticed that the topic of depression and mental health had started to pop up more. It had become more of a normal thing to hear about and talk about. The topic in general was becoming a normal problem with no exact cure or solution. I wanted to change this. Depression should not be a common topic that comes up in a conversation. There is no perfect way to get rid of depression or to prevent it but I wanted to come up with a solution that could at least make an impact.

I decided that Kindness Cards were a good way to help make a positive impact on depression and mental health. I know that normal cards are a great way to communicate with people but I though a video would be a great component to add. Now instead of just a normal card with a message on it you can also send a video along with your written message. Video apps have been gaining more popularity. Videos are also becoming a more popular way to communicate with people, especially with people that you don't see very often or people that live far away.

My main goal with this product is to make a positive impact on people's day. This product will not cure depression or anxiety but, it can definitely add a positive thought to someone's mind. This is also a pretty simple way to bring a good thought to someone who might be struggling. Even though this product was thought of to help people suffering from depression or anxiety it can make a positive impact on anyone, even if they aren't suffering from any kind of mental health issue.

In the future, I want to be selling more products than just cards. A QR code can go on almost anything so I can be spreading positivity not only through cards but also through other products such as clothes, water bottles, bags, etc. Something else that might be something to accomplish in the future is to have a gallery of videos filmed by well known people or celebrities. You would be able to pick a video from the gallery to send to a loved one just to add another twist to your card. You could have their video and also still film your own video and write your own message.
