Teacher Bio

¡Hola y bienvenidos a mi sitio web! Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Emily Mozingo and I am thrilled to be your Spanish instructor this year! I was born in Denver, Colorado, and I'm a proud Jeffco alum and Standley Lake High School grad. I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where I earned a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, a B.A. in Psychology, a Certificate of Secondary Spanish Education, and an M.A. in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity. I have lived in Sevilla, Spain and traveled in Mexico. 

I currently live in Westminster, Colorado with my husband and our two cats. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, road biking, exercising, reading, a good Netflix binge, cooking, going to concerts, and spending time with my friends and family. I am really looking forward to our time together in class this year and getting to be a part of your language learning journey.
