Hours: 

-Members must complete a total of 40 hours of community service across both semesters

-Activities from both inside and outside of NHS events are counted equally

-Hours from tutoring are limited to a maximum of 20

-Hours from Outdoor Lab are limited to a maximum of 20

Hours Sheet:

-May only be signed by adult leaders at volunteer opportunities, NHS advisors, and NHS officers. NO Parents, siblings, or other students!

-Photo evidence of tutoring is required (you with the person you tutored and the work that you completed together)

Attendance:

-Members are expected to attend all scheduled meetings (see calendar)

-Excused absences will be given for any legitimate reasons, just contact an officer and fill out this excused absence form.

-If you are absent from a meeting without being excused by an officer, you will be penalized an additional 30 minutes of service

-More than 3 unexcused absences may result in expulsion from NHS
