Honors Economics

Honors Economics is a microeconomic focused class that also incorporates Personal Finance skills and macroeconomic topics. 

Students will spend time learning how to budget, the impacts of credit cards and debt, types of banking and basic finance skills. 

Students will also analyze microeconomic concepts such as supply and demand, price ceilings and floors, perfect competition, and game theory. 

Macroeconomic concepts that are covered include global trade,  exchange rates and international finance. 

Students compete in the Stock Market Game against other schools in the state and have a chance to learn investing skills and prizes. 

Honors Economics is considered the third class in the EHS Business Course Paythways
