Swartz Language Arts

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to update you on the procedures for my virtual classroom starting Tuesday, March 17^th.

My lessons and assignments will be posted daily on Google Classroom. The students have been using Google Classroom all year in my room, and they are very familiar with it. The expectation is that students will complete the assignment each day before 2:30pm and turn it in. At 2:30, I will take attendance by checking that students turned in the assignments each day. In addition to the assignment posted, students will be expected to read their own books for a minimum of 15 minutes a day.

My assigned office hours are 9:00-10:00am. I will be at my computer and available to online chat with students that have questions or need help during that time. If students have any questions or need to contact me to turn in late work outside of those office hours, they should email me at dswartz@jeffco.k12.co.us or place questions in the comments section of their assignment. I will be checking my email frequently between 7:30am-3:30pm, and I will respond to questions during those hours.
