Some common themes and ideas to establish these behaviors, or information to guide thinking:
Build a sleep schedule
Set an alarm on your phone nightly to remind you to start shutting down for the night. This should be at least 8 hours before you need to get up in the morning. (ex. morning alarm = 6am, then you need to be sleeping by 10pm, so you need to be settling in by 9:30ish). Maintain your sleep schedule as closely as possible, even on weekends for best results.
Shut off computers, tablets, and the tv when the an hour before bed.
Eating better
Carbohydrates = usable energy. Don't cut them out of your diet as athletes!
Protein = muscle maintenance. Get enough, but no need for extra.
