About Me

This is my 6th year of teaching middle school Science and I absolutely love it.  Prior to middle school, I taught 6th grade (majority of my teaching career) as well as 2nd, 3rd and 5th grades.  This is my 23rd year teaching in Jeffco.  I am a Jeffco graduate, attended NMSU on a softball scholarship and played softball professionally in Italy.  I coached high school softball for 13 years (2000-2013).   Green Mountin HS (5 years) and Conifer HS (8 years) where, as a coach, I was fortunate enough to win a state championship with my amazing softball players in 2003.

I am a mom of 2 adult children.  My daughter is 21 and my son is 19.  I have 2 female dogs and 2 cats, 1 male1 female.  

I am the 3rd daughter of 4.  I love my family, traveling, sports (playing and watching), the outdoors, CSU Rams, Oklahoma Sooners, Chicago Bears, flowers, gardening, Dr. Pepper, Chai Tea and Cheez-its!  I very much dislike bad attitudes, bullies, disrespectful people, red meat and pork.
