Meet Ms. Van Hoye

Hi! I am Crystal Van Hoye. I am a Colorado native and enjoy doing anything outdoors. I love to camp, hike and travel to new places, especially national parks. Science is my favorite subject- I LOVE getting to teach about rocks and minerals! At home I like to garden, cook, read and make art with my two kiddos, Kaya and Amani.

This is my 9th year teaching in Jeffco and 8th year at Coronado. I am so excited to part of the Coronado community and truly look forward to coming to work each day.  I started my teaching career in a private school where I taught  preK for 5 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Metro State University of Denver and worked in Littleton Public Schools until coming to Jeffco and receiving my GT endorsement. 

I am super passionate about gifted education. I love integrating creativity and STEAM activities into the classroom, and supporting students' social and emotional growth. I look forward to working with you this year!
