Ms. Laura Sarche has been the instrumental music director at West Jefferson MS since August of 2000. During her time at West Jeff MS she was the director for the bands, jazz bands, and orchestras. Ms. Sarche has a BME from the University of Northern Colorado and a M.Ed from Lesley University. 

During Ms. Sarche's time at West Jeff MS she ran and hosted the West Jefferson Middle School Festival, has been a guest clinician and guest director at district festivals, was Teacher of the Year through the PTA Teacher Apple Award, was quarter finalist for the Grammy Educator Award, and her bands and orchestras consistently received superiors at festivals. Ms. Sarche also enjoys playing violin in the Jeffco Community Orchestra.

Ms. Sarche was raised in Conifer and attended Parmalee Elementary, West Jefferson Jr High (MS), and Evergreen HS. She is passionate about her students and teaching music. Ms. Sarche is excited to become the Director of Orchestras at Conifer HS and West Jefferson MS starting school year 2024-2025.
