FACS Teachers

Brittany Chiavini

A CSU Family and Consumer Sciences graduate,  Brittany is very passionate about FACS!  She teaches Teen Choices and Challenges, Life Management, Culinary Nutrition, and Child Development.

Sharon Gardner

I love to teach CTE - it is a great learning experience for all students. FACS classes teach students real life skills that students will use every day.   We offer so many wonderful classes for students.  I teach Culinary Nutrition.  This class is for students to learn the basic of cooking and wellness.

I have four lovely kids - 12 grandchildren.  I love to cook - stitch - read - exercise - learn and hang out with my family.

Brita Letvin

Ms. Letvin teaches Fashion, Interior Design, Education Exploration, and Culinary Essentials.  I love teaching at Columbine and providing valuable experiences for kids that they can use for their whole lives!

I have two children who are growing up way too fast.  I live in Conifer and enjoy being in the mountains and seeing a little bit of nature every day.

FCCLA

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America or FCCLA is a Career and Technical Student Organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system.

Students who are members of FACS classes have FCCLA incorporated into their classroom activities.  If students are interested in taking FCCLA further they can attend several conferences and have the opportunity to compete in STAR events during the school year.  See one of your FACS teachers for more information.
