Welcome to Connections Learning Center's Service Learning Program where our students strive to engage their communities in meaningful service and volunteer efforts. For over the past decade, we have partnered with community organizations in meeting real needs in the Denver Metro area. Through our efforts, students find belonging and significance through helping others:
- Students see their learning applied in the 'real world' as they practice skills and discover talents and interests
- Teachers may choose to link their curriculum to community service and/or future careers, giving lessons relevant focus
- Local non-profits find eager student & faculty volunteers
- Meaningful service helps fulfill community needs and builds inter-generational bridges

Mt. Vista Heroes
An inter-generational partnership with Mt. Vista Assisted Living and the students at Connections Learning Center brings smiles to all ages. The students and their grand-friends learn, play and share stories each Friday morning. Activities they enjoy the most include biographical interviews, table bowling, song & dance.
