About

Since 2020, the Chatfield BAGS Club (Formerly CSH Bagging For Homelessness) has been providing care packages for houseless individuals in the state of Colorado. We provide our members with a student-led experience incomparable to any club at Chatfield and pride ourselves in letting members experience real-world volunteering, as well as the chance to build a passion for community service while having fun with their peers.

This club focuses on planning for and executing annual care package deliveries as well as many opportunities to volunteer in the community for local organizations. We often work in groups, complete projects, and take trips to complete service projects and volunteer opportunities in the Denver and Littleton area. In our FIRST YEAR, we...

- 300 Pairs of Bombas Socks from Sock It To' Em

- 200+ Food donations from community members during our community food drive

- New leaderships roles (President, VP, Treasurer, Community Outreach Liaison)
- Held end of semester/year parties to reward our members
- Changed our communication platform to GroupMe (and loved the change!)
- Switched to a bag assembly-line style at events to promote more student participation and guest choice.

- Collaborated with Chatfield Key Club during the school-wide Supplies For Ukraine drive
