My name is Heidi Hartrich and I look forward to the opportunity to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher! This is my 18th year of teaching and my 6th year at Bradford K8 South. I have been a Jeffco teacher for 8 years and have lived in the state of Colorado for 10 years. I grew up in Indiana and went to college at CUW. I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. I enjoy going to the mountains, reading, creating, being outdoors, sports, and coaching my son's soccer team. My passion in teaching strives to help students continue a love of learning and reach their goals this year. I also love to help teach students about growth mindset and believing in the "Power of Yet."
Some goals that I have for my students include:
developing independence and accountability
building social emotional skills such as empathy and kindness
developing collaboration skills that they can use in the classroom and in the larger community
creating responsibility both in their actions and school work
Fostering a growth mindset
developing skills to persevere and problem solve
