Physical Education at Bradford

My goal for Elementary P.E. is for students find a way to use physical activity to improve both physical and mental health. This is achieved through a variety of activities that we will encounter in the gym and outside on the field (when the weather permits). This class provides a much needed break and escape through physical activity that can translate to success in the classroom setting. It also allows students to be exposed to the idea of consistent physical activity helps translate to a healthy lifestyle. 

Sportsmanship and positive interactions amongst teammates and opponents alike will be a primary focus in my class. I preach the term "healthy competitiveness." In essence, it promotes the idea of putting forth great effort and skill execution in attempt to win, yet acknowledging that the way in which you deal with victory or defeat is even more important than said result. 

Activities in P.E. will include but are not limited to: Basketball, Soccer, Floor Hockey, Limited Contact Football, Kickball, Wiffleball, Frisbee, Tag & Evasion games, Juggling/Cup Stacking skills, & Yard games.
