Cory Olsen

Coach Olsen is entering his 11th year with both the boys and girls golf teams here at Columbine, making this his 22nd season of CHSAA Rebel Golf, and his 38th season total in competitive golf here in Colorado.  Coach currently plays, caddies, and coaches at every level of competitive golf, and still plays to a scratch handicap, competing in amateur and pro events around the country.  When he is not on the links, Coach Olsen serves as one of the Assistant Principals here at Columbine.

Coach Olsen was recently named the 2025 5A Golf Coach of the Year, adding to his 2021 5A Coach of the Year award, and his 2022 PGA Coach of the Year award.  Coach Olsen recently led the Rebels to their first Top 100 National HS Ranking in school history, as the Rebels debuted at #78 nationally in 2025.  Under Coach Olsen and his staff, the Rebels have produced 2 x Top 100 world ranked junior golfers, 9 x Individual State Championships, 41 x CHSAA Tournament victories,   38 x All-Conference Selections, 6 x All-State Selections,  27 x Academic All-State Selections, 2 x Conference Championships and 3 x Athletes of the Year.  His players have qualified for various USGA majors, pro events and the prestigious Drive, Chip, & Putt World Finals at the Masters and Augusta National.  Former players for Coach Olsen are currently competing in the NCAA and Professional ranks.
