Program Details
The MPA BAS Program is a Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) licensed program for students currently enrolled at MPA aged 3-12, Pre-K to 6th grade. The After School care Program consists of two age groups: the primary group (Pre-K to Kindergarten students age 3-5) and the elementary group (1st-6th grade students aged 6-12). We do not provide transportation to or from the BAS program.
Before School Care
Before School Care is open to students currently enrolled at MPA aged 3-12, Pre-K to 6th grade
7:00AM to 8:00AM on regular school days.
Drop off before 7:00AM and ater 7:45AM is not permitted
Students attending the Before School program must be walked to the drop off entrance located on the north east side of the building and signed in by a parent or guardian using their Brightwheel PIN. Upon arrival please press the ring doorbell until it lights up; if the doorbell does not work call the drop-off number at (720)-665-0113 please identify yourself and the student you will be dropping off.

Students clean up their activities and line up to go to class

Students are escorted to their classrooms by staff members
Please note: Drop off after 7:45 am is not permitted as students have been walked to class. Parents/Guardians dropping off after 7:45am must go through the school’s morning hug and drop carline
After School Care: Elementary Age Group
The elementary age After School Care program is open to 1st through 6th grade students age 6 to 13 currently enrolled at MPA.

3:00 PM - 3:10 PM
Students are dismissed from classrooms and walk to the gym for aftercare
As student’s arrive, staff members sign students into after school care on Brightwheel
Students wash their hands to prepare for snack
3:10 PM - 3:30 PM
Snack is served to students
As students finish snack they clean up their area and wash their hands
Students apply sunscreen before going outside
Staff dismiss students to line up to go outside or choose an indoor activity
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM (Weather and Daylight Dependent)
Students are taken to the playground for recess or engage in indoor free play
Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, elementary age students will be able to choose if they would like to go outside to recess or stay inside for free play
3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Students engage in free play or participate in any staff planned activities
After School Care: Primary Age Group
The primary age After School Care program is open to preschool and kindergarten students age 3 to 6 currently enrolled at MPA

Students age 4+ apply sunscreen to themselves before going outside
Staff apply sunscreen to students age 3 and under
Staff dismiss students to line up to go outside

Students are taken to the primary playground for recess
ALL primary age students are taken to the playground for recess
