Data Privacy information for Families and our Community

Below you will find web-based, iPad, and PC installed tools that require a log in and are used in our building.  Please read the list left to right.  You can click on any symbol to go to the website.

Each tool listed in the first category is used universally by most grades. Tools that are specific to grade levels are associated with that grade.  For more information about how a specific tool is utilized in the classroom please contact your students teacher.  For more information in general please feel free to contact the Digital Teacher Librarian at our school.  This list will be updated as needed.



Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader helps you guide students while engaging quizzes and activities help hone students' reading skills and encourage growth.

Book Creator

Book Creator is a digital tool that enables students to create and read multimodal digital books.

Code.org

Code.org is a resource that teaches students the basics of coding, digital citizenship, cyber security, app development, and more.

Evolve

Evolve (Upstander) is a tool for students to respond to cyberbullying and are propted to make choices to “evolve” into an Upstander.

Fact Monster

Fact Monster combines essential reference materials, fun facts and features, and homework help for kids.

Flip Login

Flip (formerly Flipgrid) is a website that allows teachers to create “grids” of short discussions-style questions that students respond to through recorded videos.

Jumper!

Students evaluate examples of online messages and decide what information is appropriate to share, and when. 

Kahoot!

Kahoot! is a free game-based learning platform that makes it fun to learn any subject, in any language, on any device.

KidRex

KidRex is a dinosaur themed custom Google safe search engine designed and built for young kids.

Kiddle

Kiddle is a visual search engine for kids, offering safe kids web, image, and video search.

Kodable

Kodable has everything you need to teach kids to code!

National Geographic KiDS

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC KIDS features educational games, videos, and other activities, centered mostly on animals and the natural world. Kids also can get a virtual tour of different countries, featuring fun facts and other information. They can contribute to the site by posting comments (which are moderated), answering quizzes, and submitting photos.

Padlet

Padlet is an online post it wall. It allows individuals (and large/ small groups) to post their comments, questions, and resources in one place that is easily accessible to everyone.

Pear Deck

Pear Deck is an interactive presentation tool used to actively engage students in individual and social learning.

PebbleGo

PebbleGo is a curricular content hub specifically designed for K-2 students. Packed with informational articles, ready-made activities, and literacy supports for students of all abilities, it boosts engagement and fosters independent learning in core subject areas.

PebbleGo Next

PebbleGo Next is designed for upper elementary students, grades 3-5, who are more proficient in navigating technology but still need some extra support, utilizing curriculum-aligned articles with more robust information for older students.  PebbleGo Next offers four unique databases: Science, Biographies, Social Studies, and States & American Indian History.

Raz-Kids

Raz-Kids is product that provides comprehensive leveled reading resources for students. With hundreds of eBooks offered at 29 different levels of reading difficulty, it's easy to put the right content in every student's hands.

Scholastic Kids Home Base

Scholastic Home Base is a free, #D interactive world that celebrates favorite stories through book-based games, live author events, and a large community of readers.

Scratch Jr.

ScratchJr. is an introductory programming language that enables young children (ages 5-7) to create their own interactive stories and games. 

Seesaw

Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. It’s simple to get student work in one place and share with families.

Shelver

Mrs. Lodge's Shelver Game (from Mrs. Lodge's Library) is a super game for testing your skills on shelving books. There are two skill games: one for Fiction Books (A-B-C order) and one for Non Fiction Books (Dewey order-- it's trickier!).

Study Jams!

StudyJams! has interactive math and science activities were you can find over 200 Jams on topics like The Universe, listen to songs about Landforms, and test yourself on concepts

Time for Kids

TIME for Kids nurtures today's learners and tomorrow's leaders with authentic news and the critical-thinking skills that shape active global citizens. 

Twalkers

Twalkers allows students to reflect on what it's like to multitask on a cellphone and consider the benefits of focusing on one task at a time. 

Tynker

Tynker is a fun way to learn programming and develop problem-solving & critical thinking skills.

Typing Jungle-3rd Grade

Typing Jungle contains over 600 lessons, guiding students from individual keys through numbers and punctuation, and all the way to a goal of 75 WPM. The lessons include instructional videos, educational games, cross-curricular content, and other interactive experiences.

Typing Jungle for Juniors-1st Grade

Jungle Junior is an interactive typing game for your youngest learners. Through the course of about 200 friendly, colorful videos and interactive lessons, students will learn all about the alphabet and practice sight words, word families, and simple sentences.

 Digital Compass (Digital Citizenship) Middle School

This an innovative way to give students the freedom to explore how decisions they make in their digital lives can affect their relationships and futures. Through the suite of popular choose-your-own-path games, students play through the perspective of one of eight main characters, each of whom is facing a different digital citizenship dilemma. The varied story paths and multiple decision points encourage students to play repeatedly in order to explore alternative courses of action. Games are also available in Spanish.

Pixton Comics-Grade 6

Pixton is a comic creation site for classrooms where teachers and students can both make and share their comic strips.

BOOM! Pixton Comics 7/8

This is a comic and avatar maker for the classroom and beyond.

The Maker Space-Middle School

This is a Virtual Makerspace where you can create, imagine, read, learn, discover and more!
