Mrs. Olson

This is my seventh year teaching 4th grade at BCK8. 

Before coming to BCK8, I was a substitute teacher. 

I have two daughters. One is in 6th grade at BCK8. The other one is a freshman at BCHS. 

Some things I like to do in my free time are reading, hiking, camping, paddle boarding and gardening. 

My family and I moved to Colorado 10 years ago from Illinois which is where I am originally from. 

When I was living in Illinois I worked for 10 years as an environmental educator. 

My undergraduate degree is in environmental studies. I have a graduate degree in environmental science, and I got my teaching license at CU Boulder. 

I run the school garden at Bear Creek and run an afterschool garden club in the spring.
