Mr. Hudson

My name is Ted Hudson. This is my 22nd year teaching.

I am a Lakewood native who chose to come back the district to teach at Bear Creek in 2005 after a few years teaching at a small charter school in Longmont. I earned my BA in American History in 2002 from the University of Northern Colorado, where I twice won the award for Outstanding History Student and graduated Cum Laude. I earned my master's degree in educational technology from Grand Canyon University in 2009. I have taught AP European History for 19 years. Over the last 10 years I have been a reader for the national AP exam for European History.

In my free time I most enjoy travelling, having visited over 35 countries in the last 15 years. I have traveled extensively to Europe and South America, as well as numerous road trips through North America. I enjoy reading, writing, running, playing video games, the spiciest food possible, and spending time with my wife, daughter and son.
