2024 Girls Tennis CALENDAR

Monday February 26th - Practice starts 3:45-5:30/6 at AW courts. - Must have all paperwork turned in to practice.  Practices/tryouts will be at AW and Majestic View courts.

Practices are Monday thru Friday 3:45-530 and Saturdays 3/2  if needed to finish challenge matches and set the ladder, as matches start March 14th.  

CHALLENGE MATCHES will start this week 2/28-3/12 so be prepared.  Returning Varsity players and some new players may start challenges on Monday 2/28 at 415 after initial practice/eval at 345.  All make sure to bring water.

Wed. Feb. 28th -Mandatory Parent meeting 7 pm in Gym with breakout of individual sports after.  All to attend, Players and Parents

Matches will usually start at 330 pm.  Schedule as of February 26th.  Varsity home matches will be played at AW and Majestic View.

Sat. March 9th- Top 12 players to go to Cheyenne, WY for scrimmage/training with girls up there.

Thurs. 3/14 - AW vs Broomfield (scrimmage ) - Varsity at AW/MV, JV away (leave at 245) 

Spring Break 3/16-3/24

Wednesday March 27th - AW vs Green Mtn. - Varsity at AW/MV,  JV at Green Mtn. (leave at 230)

Tuesday April 2nd - AW vs Valor - Varsity at Valor (leave at 215) , JV at AW

Thursday April 4th - AW vs Columbine - Varsity at AW/MV, JV at Columbine/Clement park (leave at 215)

Fri. April 5th & Sat. April 6th - Dakota Ridge Varsity Invitational Tournament @ Dakota Ridge - all day -(leave at 7 am)

Tuesday April 9th - AW (home)  vs RV - Varsity at ATC (leave at 245),  JV at AW

Thurs. April 11th - AW vs Chatfield  - Varsity at AW/MV, JV at Ken Caryl Ranch House ( leave at 215)

Fri. April 12th - Varsity RV Invitational Tourney at APEX and AW - all day -(meet at ATC at 730 am)

2024 SUMMER TENNIS

Junior Team Tennis play starts Monday June 3th - July 22nd.  Team formation is due April 26th.  I need to know who is interested in being on a team by Friday April 19th.  See attached form for details.  Please contact me so I can get you on the list if you are interested.

Practice times:  9-11 at Arvada West High School.  Practices will be Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the season.  

We'll have practices the first week of June Monday June 3rd 1230-2, Wed. June 5th and Friday June 7th 9-11.  Matches start Monday June 10th.

18 & under 1230 -2

Matches consists of 1 line of singles and 1 line of doubles all playing at the same time, so must have 3 players each week.  Check all Mondays AVAILABLE to play.

Colorado State Championship for qualifying teams is Friday Aug. 2nd – Sunday Aug. 4th. Practice will be Wed. July 24, Friday July 26th, Monday July 29th and Wed. July 31st if qualify.  Must have 3 players each day to be eligible.       Check dates available to play.  If we make state we'll practice Monday July 29th 1230-2 and Wed. July 31st 9-11.
