Coach Dan Watkins begins his 3rd year at the helm of the Wildcatse in Spring 2026. Coach Dan is in his 28th year coaching in Jeffco having spent the first 25 years at Wheat Ridge High School where he led the Farmers to multiple league titles and State Championships in 2009 and 2010.  Dan has recevied coach of the year from Jeffco six times and been state coach of the year two times. He has been the finalist for national coach of the year through United Soccer Coaches three times.

My Why?  Connections, relationships, team first and inclusivity within the team and the program. I believe in the power of relationships to shape lives around character, commitment and confidence.   Training on your edge, training to a standard, accountability, positive body language, being brave, being a great teammate and a desire to get better are all things I value

Coach Dan is the Technology Coordinator at AWest and is married to wife, Dani.  They have two daugthers, Teagan and Taylor and lives in Arvada.
